The King George has not been the kindest race for favourites recently. Long Run, Silviniaco Conti, Thistlecrack, and Might Bite have been market leaders. Three of the last four King Gives winners were at double-figure prices.
Paul Nicholls has won the King George five times in the last ten years. Colin Tizzard is the next best trainer on two wins. The Irish will be represented this year by Henry de Bromhead's Envoi Allen.
