Haydock: Betfair Chase odds, betting tips and brilliant free bets offers

Betfair Chase over three miles takes place at Haydock on Saturday. First run in 2005, it has been won by some of the greats of modern era. Most successful horse in the history of race is Kauto Star with four wins between 2006 and 2011. Cue Card triumphed three times in four years from 2013 to 2016. Bristol De Mai is one of five runners taking part this year. Last year's winner Lostintranslation is backing to become a dual winner of this race.

Haydock, Saturday 3.00 is Betfair Chase day. Lostintranslation, Bristol De Mai, Clan Des Obeaux, Bellshill and Keeper Hill are the favourites. Betway account holders can get a £5 free bet on the BetFair Chase.

Haydock is Betfair Chase's hub.

Bristol De Mai, Lostintranslation and Clan Des Obeaux are the favourites for the Betfair Chase at Haydock on Saturday. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained grey, Bristol De Muell, failed in his bid to become the first horse to win this Grade 1 chase three years in succession.

Clan Des Obeaux is bidding to add to Ditcheat handler Paul Nicholls' Betfair Chase wins. He won the Christmas showpiece in 2018 before honourable defeats at Cheltenham and Aintree the following spring. Last year he was an easy to back 11/2 chance at Kempton on Boxing Day and he won by 21 lengths from stablemate Cyrname.

Colin Tizzard's horse Lostintranslation is favourite to win the Betfair Chase at Haydock. The leading trio haven't run since the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Bellshill and Keeper Hill are also in the race. Bristol De Mai will probably make the running again. Last year, the winner was Bristol de Mai. This year's winner is Robbie Power's mount. He underwent wind surgery between Kempton and Cheltonham.

Telegraph Betting hosts racecards for every meeting every day.
