2022 MAC Football Week 4 Game Preview: Bowling Green Falcons at Mississippi State Bulldogs

Bowling Green Falcons lost their home opener to Marshall, but won in overtime. They will play Mississippi State Bulldogs in the next MAC game. The Bulldogs are coached by Mike Leach. Bowling Green allows the second most passing yards per game in FBS.

Bowling Green Falcons beat Marshall 34-31 in overtime. The team is going to Starkville this Saturday. Matt McDonald is in the midst of his best stretch of college career. The offensive line is getting better and the team has a strong distribution of the wealth. Odieu Hiliare is the breakout player at the receiver position. He is currently the leader in receiving yards and total offensive touchdowns. Austin Osborne is not available for the game. It is unlikely that he will play. His replacement will be Austin Osbourne. They are going for a win.

Mississippi State lost 31-16 to LSU last Saturday night. The Bulldogs are going to play Bowling Green in the season finale. Mike Leach's team is heavily reliant on the air raid offense. Will Rogers is connecting on 72 percent of his passes. His top receivers could be in for a career game against Bowling green's pass defense.  Dillon Johnson and Jo'quavious Marks are the team's main running backs. They have a team-high 17 receptions. Their rushing production is also important. BowlingGreen has the second-worst pass defence in college football.
