2022 MLB Free Agency Tracker: Trea Turner, Justin Verlander Headline Signings
The 2022–23 MLB offseason is in full swing. Clubs are reloading their rosters in preparation for another World Series in 2023.
Trea Turner and Justin Verlander are the most likely players to sign in the upcoming MLB free agency. DeGrom signed a five-year deal with the Rangers. Jose Abreu signed with Houston. The 2020 AL MVP and three-time All-Star left the White Sox after nine seasons to join Houston on Nov. 28. Anthony Rizzo signed two-and-a-half-season contract extensions with New York. He will play first base for the defending champions. The 40-something Verler is coming off a Tommy John surgery.
