2022 Vuelta a España
Marc Soler won the fifth stage of the Vuelta a Espana. Daryl Impey finished second and Fred Wright third. Rudy Molard is now in the red jersey.
2022 Vuelta a España starts in Cantabria and finishes in Pico Jano. The first climb of the day is 8.1 km long and it's expected to be difficult. There will be a bonus sprint at the summit. The final climb is 6.3 km at 8% and the final 4.5 km is around 7%.
2022 Vuelta a España is going to be quite different. There will be some rain and a northern breeze.
It's the first mountain stage of the Vuelta a España. There's a 40% chance of a breakaway.
Primoz Roglic is favourite to win the Vuelta a Burgos. Jai Hindley and Sergio Higuita are good climbers. Inez is the leader but his best form is yet to come. Enric Mas and Ben O'Connor will be considered for the stage wins. The stage will serve to have some order in the GC. Other riders will try to get a grip on the race. There will also be some surprises. The riders who are not on top form will have to be watched closely. They include Thymen Arensman, Intermarché, Louis Meintjes, Domenico Pozzovivo, Trek, Segafredo, Juan Pedro López and Kenny Elissonde.
Today is an important day for the GC riders. Jesús Ezquerra, Victor and Ethan Hayter are going to try and get in the breakaway. Jay Vine wants to go for a stage win with Jesunés. 2022 Vuelta a España.
