2022/2023 Women's National League kicks off
The 2022/2023 FAZ Women's National League kicks off this afternoon. Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club will start their title defense against Sensational Ladies. YASA Queens are away to newcomers Trident Queens.
Green Eagles and Red Arrows are playing a match at Margaret Mwanakatwe Bauleni Stadium in Lusaka. It's the first match of the 2022/23 FAZ Women's Super Division double header. Arrows won the last two meetings between the two teams. The most recent meeting was in June during Defence Force Day. The Air Ladies won 2-nil in a game played at OYDC Ground.
Play It Forward Queens will start their FAZ Super Division campaign against ZESCO Ndola Girls on Sunday at 13:00 hours at Bharati Sports Complex. Zegalicious will be looking forward to starting the league on a high note. Play It forward will count on the services of prolific goal poacher Marjory Luwaya, speedy winger Mary Mulwanda and the hardworking Mulemwa Phiri.
Bauleni United Sports Academy (BUSA) Queens will welcome National Assembly Women Football Club in the second match at Margaret Mwanakatwe Bauleneni Stadium in Lusaka at 15:00 hours on match day one of the 2022/23 FAZ Women’s Super Division encounter. Assembly won the last encounter with BUSA last year on 14th November with Grace Mulaisho scoring the only goal of that match. B USA won 2-1 in reverse fixture played at Showgrounds.
Trident Queens and Yasa Queens will play each other at Sentinel Ground, Kalumbila at 15:00 hours. It is the second time the teams from the same league meet each others.
2022/2023 FAZ Women's National League kicks off on Sunday at 15:00 hours. Zambian Institute for Sustainable Development (ZISD) Women Football Club will welcome Ndola based Indeni Roses in their opening match of the 2022/23 Women’s Super Division at Lusaka's Independence Stadium. ZISd won the last game 3-nil.
Mufulira Wanderers Women Football Club will start their FAZ Super Division campaign with a tie against Police Dove Queens at Kachofa Stadium in Mufulirah at 15:00 hours. Green Buffaloes Women will defend their title against newly promoted Lusaka Provincial champions ZANACO Ladies at Sunset Stadium at the same time. CAF Women’s Champions League bound Go Girls Fight and Conquer will take on Sensational Ladies in a match played at their backyard.
