Kortrijk come into this on the back of a terrible start to the season. The home team began with a 3-2 loss away to Gent on the opening day of the season, in which they did open the scoring early on in that match, then they followed that up by losing 1-0 at home to Sint-Truiden before going away to the reigning champions, Royal Antwerp, and being annihilated by six goals to nil in their most recent outing, last weekend.
