Danny Gargan has been training full-time for about eight years. Gargans has a strong lifetime winning percentage of 22%. Jockey Jose Ortiz has ridden Dubyuhn for all three of his starts. Ortiz won the 2017 Eclipse Award as outstanding jockey.

Dubyuhnell is from the first crop of Good Magic, the 2017 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner and champion 2-year-old male. Good magic ran second in the Kentucky Derby the following year. Wild Gams, by Forest Wildcat, is the dam (mother) of Dubyuholn. She is a sprinter who won seven stakes and earned $1,198,486.

Dubyuhnell's two wins came on sloppy tracks. He will ship to Florida for the Withers Stakes on Feb. 4. There are also options for qualifying points races in Florida on the Derby trail. Dubyuuhn should be a player on a path to Louisville for May 6 Kentucky Derby.
