Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets

The Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City has hosted a number of competitions. It is well known for its breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and its difficult yet beautiful layout. Designed and built by Bob Cupp and Tom Kite, the par-72 course measures over 7,200 yards. It has narrow bent-grass fairways, just 25 to 27 yards wide, and tiny greens. With several hundred mature hardwoods along the fairways, a couple of rock-lined streams edging the greens and winding cart paths made of old brick, Liberty National looks like what Central Park would be if it were a golf course.

Lydia Ko +1400

Ko has decent value at +1400 for a golfer of her magnitude. Her game has been stalling recently with a T42 at the Cognizant Founders Cup and missed the cut at The Chevron Championship. You can never count her out, however, with 102 career top 10 finishes and 19 career victories. Ko enters the week third in the Rolex World Rankings. She began the year with a victory at the Saudi Ladies International. If the putter gets going this weekend, Ko will be in contention on Sunday.

Georgia Hall +1600

Georgia Hall is the face of English women’s golf. The 27-year-old from Bournemouth, England, has become one of the best female players in the world, consistently near the tops of the LPGA ranks. Since turning professional in 2014 at 18 years old, she has registered eight professional wins, including a major victory at the 2018 Women’s British Open. She heads to New Jersey ranked ninth in the Rolex Rankings and five top 10 finishes this season.

Minjee Lee +2200

Lee heads into the week coming off a 2nd place finish at the Cognizant Founders Cup. She ranks fifth in the Rolex Rankings and has 66 career top-10 finishes along with eight career LPGA victories. Another strong iron player and putter, Lee holds incredible value at +2200 odds. Look for the 27-year-old to continue her form and use the momentum to post good numbers in New Jersey.

Danielle Kang +2800

After a stellar 2022 season, you can feel that Kang is due for a victory in 2023. In 18 events last season, she made 16 cuts, while recording seven top-10 finishes, including a win at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. For her career, she has six LPGA wins, including one major at the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Her strong iron play could make her a major player this weekend, and jump all over the +2800 odds.
