2023 MLB picks, odds, best bets for Wednesday, July 19 by top model: This three-way parlay returns almost 7-1

The surging Minnesota Twins will attempt to keep momentum on their side Wednesday when they visit the Seattle Mariners for the third of a four-game series. The Twins (49-47) posted a 10-3 victory Tuesday following a 7-6 loss in the series opener, on the heels of a three-game sweep of the moribund Oakland Athletics. The Mariners (47-47) have split their last six following a stretch in which they won six of seven. Veteran Kenta Maeda (2-5, 5.50 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Twins, and after missing nearly two months because of a triceps injury, he is 2-1 in four starts since his return. Seattle starter Luis Castillo (6-7, 2.96) is 1-1 with an ERA of 8.18 in three career starts against the Twins.

First pitch is set for 9:40 p.m. ET from T-Mobile Park. On Wednesday, the Mariners are -155 favorites (risk $155 to win $100), while the Twins fetch a price of +130 in the latest Caesars Sportsbook MLB odds. The over/under for total runs scored is 7.5. After simulating every game on Wednesday 10,000 times, the model is picking the San Francisco Giants (-110) to defeat the Cincinnati Reds (-110) at 7:10 p.m. ET. These teams are going in opposite directions as San Francisco's seven-game win streak is the longest active one in the majors, while Cincinnati's six-game losing streak is also MLB's longest active drought without a win. The Giants have won six of eight matchups with the Reds dating back to the 2022 season.

Projected starter Ross Stripling (0-2, 6.11 ERA) has settled down after a tough start to the year for San Fran as he has a 3.38 ERA over his last four games. He can then turn the ball over to one of the best reliever cores in the majors as the Giants' bullpen ERA of 3.78 is second-best in the National League. On the other hand, Cincy starter Graham Ashcraft (4-7, 5.95) has the second-worst ERA in the NL (min. 80 IP), and as a team, the Reds have the third-worst team ERA in the senior circuit.
