2024 College Football Playoff Opening Odds: Prices for CFP National Championship in next season’s 12-team field

The 2023 college football season is officially in the history books as the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines took down the No. 2 Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff National Championship. Now we begin the slow crawl towards the 2024 season, where a new era of the sport will dawn.

Namely, the CFP will expand from four to 12 teams next season and the field is expected to be comprised of five conference champions and seven at-large spots. Along with that, the landscape of the sport will be drastically different with major moves in conference realignment kicking in next fall. Oklahoma and Texas will finally be in the SEC while several west coast programs will be spread across different leagues due to the implosion of the Pac-12.
