5 to watch in the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge
The Buffalo Sabres are taking part in the 2022 Prospects Challenge this week. There are many unknown players on the Sabres roster. Five of them caught my eye.
Atlee Calvert is player #1 at the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge. Calverts will turn 19 in the middle of the Prospect's Challenge and is 6'0, 190lb. He has a high hockey IQ and good on-ice awareness.
Spencer Sova, 18, is a highly competitive player whose aggression and agility give him an edge when on defense. He is good in transition and will be watched in the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge.
Beck Warm is player #3 in the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge. He signed a one-year deal with the Rochester Americans in July. Warm has ECHL experience, having spent the 2021-22 season with Norfolk Admirals.
Nolan Burke is player #4 in the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge. He had 59 points, 34 goals and 25 assists in 64 games for the Sarnia Sting in 2021-22.
Francois-James Buteau is a 6'4' 194lb defenseman who will play 2022-23 with the Cape Brenton Eagles of the QMJHL. He is one of five players to watch in the Buffalo Sabres 2022 Prospects Challenge.
