Matthew Savoie was drafted by the Sabres in the ninth round on July 7th. He missed development camp due to a shoulder injury. Savosie arrived in Buffalo on Monday after attending a training camp with the Winnipeg Ice. Wednesday's practice was his first with Sabres. He played with Aleksandr Kisakov and Isak Rosen. Jiri Kulich and Filip Cederqvist missed Wednesday’s practice. Linus Weissbach also took reps on the line. The Sabres can keep Savozie for nine games before the first year of his entry-level contract kicks in.
