75 Year Old Vegas Man OJ Simpson Unknowingly Makes the Right Call Moments Before Historic Feat for Spanish Golfer Jon Rahm

Ex-NFL running back OJ Simpson still stays connected with the world of sports. The 75-year-old is currently living in Las Vegas, a place where betting is quite prevalent. Although not an avid better, OJ Simpson likes to place a bet now and then in the game of golf. It is mostly because of the influence of his golfing friends who bet on the game. 

And it seems like luck was in favor of Simpson, as he made the right betting call on The Masters’ match that was taking place.

OJ Simpson makes a lucky bet

In a recent Twitter clip, OJ Simpson was explaining how if he bets on golf, he mostly bets on Sam Burns. He said that after Easter prayers; he was watching the Golf Masters, as these professional golfers were battling it out with each other for this year’s green jacket.

Simpson said, “So now I’m kind of in a weird place because this week, I bet Sam Burns because he was 33-1, and most of the time I bet he’s come through for me. And I bet Jon Rahm. I don’t know why but I did bet Jon Rahm. But Brooks Koepka is in first place which I’m watching him this morning finish yesterday’s round. And it’s just such a weird thing every time they hit the ball, every time they put the ball. I’d love to see Brooks win this major and get a green jacket. But I’d be able to pocket a few shackles if Jon Rahm wins.”

And OJ did, in fact, win the bet he made on Jon Rahm, as the Spanish golfer went on to win the Masters on Sunday.

Jon Rahm creates history by winning the 2023 Masters

The 28-year-old Spanish golfer became the fourth Spanish golfer to win the Masters on Sunday, shooting a final-round 69. This is Rahm’s first Masters and his second major championship, after he won the U.S. Open in 2021. Rahm played 30 holes, as he went on to shoot 3-under 69 to defeat Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson by four strokes. Rahm put fans on the edge of their seats with a masterful birdie at No.14, further extending his lead. 

While Jon Rahm celebrates the win of his first Masters and , OJ Simpson will sure be celebrating his successful and wild bet on the Spaniard.
