A look at the way too early betting lines for some of Miami’s 2023 games

Early betting lines are starting to leak out for games during the 2023 college football season.

Most of the early lines for the week one games are out along with some of the biggest games set on the calendar.

The DraftKings Sportsbook has betting lines set for four games of the 2023 season.

The Hurricanes open the 2023 season with a game against Miami of Ohio on Friday, September 1st. The Hurricanes are a 17.5 point favorite at home.

The RedHawks finished the 2022 season with a 6-7 record. The 2023 season will be head coach Chuck Martin’s tenth at Miami of Ohio.

Miami’s top non-conference match-up in 2023 is a home game against Texas A&M on Saturday September 9th and the Hurricanes are a 6.5 point underdog to the Aggies.

Like UM, Texas A&M is looking to improve off a 5-7 showing in 2022. The Aggies beat Miami in College Station, 17-9 in week three of the 2022 season.

Texas A&M will look much different than last year, with Jimbo Fisher expected to pass off play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino. TAMU will also feature a different quarterback than UM faced last season with Conner Weigman expected to start after playing in five games as a true freshman and throwing for 896 yards and eight touchdowns in that action.

On Saturday, October 21st, Miami will host Clemson and the Hurricanes are currently a ten point underdog to the Tigers.

The Hurricanes lost to Clemson last season, 40-10. Miami has lost its last four games against the Tigers. The last victory over Clemson came in 2010.

UM is a significant underdog to in-state rival Florida State. The Seminoles are a 16.5 point favorite over the Hurricanes for the November 11th match-up in Tallahassee.

FSU throttled Miami, 45-3, in Hard Rock Stadium in the 2022 match-up.

DraftKings currently has Florida State as the favorite to win the ACC at +165 odds. Clemson has the second best odds to win the ACC at +175.

Miami has the fifth best odds to win the ACC at +1800.
