Aberdeen vs Celtic on TV: Live stream and kick-off details for Scottish Premiership clash

Celtic are looking to make it back to back Scottish Premiership wins when they face Aberdeen.

Brendan Rodgers got off to the perfect start last weekend on flag day as his return to Parkhead delivered a 4-2 win over Ross County to get the season up and running with three points. His decision to start David Turnbull - who struggled for minutes under Ange Postecoglou - was justified with two goals, including the opener from the penalty spot.

The Hoops are enjoying the luxury of just one game per week at this stage of the season with their Champions League place already secured after their league triumph last year. They don't have to tackle the early season qualifiers like rivals Rangers and the likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs in their respective competitions. Barry Robson and his troops picked up a draw with Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena as they bid to defeat the champions and cause an upset this weekend. Here's all the information you need.

Team news

Ange Postecoglou has provided a mixed bag of new on the injury front ahead of Aberdeen.

He said: “Liel’s back training, he just got a knock. This is a season for him to be available and be robust and he’s shown that over the course of pre-season. He took a knock and came off, but he’s okay.

"Alistair Johnston is back on the grass running and working and upping his intensity, which is really good news. Marco Tilio is out on the grass as well and moving well, so that will be great and we expect him to be back in the middle of September.

“Oh will probably be out for a few weeks. He hurt his calf against Athletic Club but he trained on and was involved in the game on the weekend. He trained on Sunday and after that he spoke to the medical team, and he has a problem which might put him out for four to six weeks.”
