Afaak makes it third time lucky at Royal Ascot with narrow Hunt Cup victory

Afaak won a Royal Ascot handicap at the third attempt. He finished seventh in the Britannia as a three-year-old and second in Royal Hunt Cup last year. Charlie Hills' horse was gelded over the winter and didn't look right. Clon Coulis came second, while Jamie Spencer was third.  Battaash and Phoenix Of Spain were beaten on Tuesday. The trainer had this race in mind for Afaak since the start of the year, but he didn’t look good.
