AI 'predicts World Cup winner' after running more than 100,000 simulated matches
Boffins at the Alan Turing Institute created an AI model capable of predicting the outcome of the FIFA World Cup this year. Brazil has the biggest chance of winning the tournament, with Belgium and Argentina close behind. France has clinched the fourth spot as most likely to clinch the cup. England has only a 7% chance, while Wales have a 0.5% of getting past the group stage.
