Alastair Down: scenes of joy as Sprinter Sacre takes the roof off Cheltenham

Sprinter won the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Nicky Henderson's team worked hard to bring him back to health. The team's horse Sarwar Mohammed is a bit of a nuisance for Sprinter. The winner's enclosure was built for this moment. It was a team effort. Sprinters has been through a lot. He has the temperament, tenacity and toughness to tread a hard road. His owner, De Boinville, is proud of his horse. Spinter is not a happy camper. he takes a lump or two out of the arm. but he would like to eat another one. This was Nicki Henderson and his team’s finest hour.
