ChatGPT has predicted the winner of the Grand National with the winning horse tipped to be a "true champion" by AI.

Ahead of the race at Aintree on Saturday evening, the result has been predicted by ChatPGT after the system was asked to come up with an outcome by Sportslens. According to the prediction, Rachael Blackmore will claim victory on Ain't That A Shame, trained by Henry de Bromhead, who also trained the 2021 winner Minella Times.

Delta Work is predicted to come second ahead of last year's winner Noble Yeats, with Davy Russell expected to give a good effort on Galvin in what is potentially his final ride.

ChatGPT described the conclusion of the race as: "In a thrilling finish, it’s Ain’t That A Shame who holds on to take the victory at odds of 8/1, giving trainer Henry De Bromhead and jockey Rachael Blackmore yet another big-race win. Delta Work takes second at 9/1, with Noble Yeats finishing third at the same price.

"It’s a moment of pure joy and excitement as the winning connections celebrate in front of the packed grandstands. Ain’t That A Shame has proved himself to be a true champion, and the Grand National has once again delivered a race to remember."

Blackmore will be looking to win the Grand National for a second time on Saturday, having become the first female jockey to taste victory in the race back in 2021.

She will again be on board a horse trained by De Bromhead, this time with Ain't That A Shame, who has been heavily backed by punters this week.

The horse has been backed in from 20/1 to 8/1, making it the current favourite for the race ahead of previous preferred runner Corach Rambler at 9/1.

Speaking via the BBC ahead of Saturday's Grand National, Blackmore explained: "Everyone who is down at the start is in with a chance, that is the kind of race it is. It is really exciting to be part of it and on such a good horse - I can't wait."
