So as you can see, Delta Work is nipping at the heels of Ain’t That A Shame in terms of the Grand National odds. Furthermore, if you look through this horse’s CV, it’s understandable why he ranks so highly.
He’s a two-time Cross Country Chase winner at Cheltenham, and he was 3rd in the Grand National last year.
Corach Rambler – 10/1 at Paddy Power
Moving down the rankings to the 3rd favourite now, we arrive at Corach Rambler. Interestingly, this horse has had the shortest price of the lot during the build-up to the Grand National. This was largely fueled by his jockey, a previous Grand National winner in the form of Derek Fox. Anyway, the shortest price seen for Corach Rambler was 7/1 to win the Grand National, which is significant.
However, Corach Rambler has since slipped down the price ladder, putting him at 9/1 with most bookmakers. But if you back this horse at Paddy Power, you can secure the odds of 10/1.
Noble Yeats – 12/1 at William Hill
Does this horse really need an introduction these days? Noble Yeats won the 2022 Grand National in spectacular fashion. Best of all, his Grand National odds that day were 50/1, which is just an incredible story. Of course, Noble Yeats is back for more today, and I’ve seen him down at 9/1 with certain bookies. However, we are all about finding the best price, and the 12/1 odds at William Hill fit the bill.
Gaillard Du Mesnil – 12/1 at Bet365
Last but not least, Gaillard Du Mesnil has climbed the pack and reached the top five favourites group. Much like others in this shortlist, this horse has odds as high as 9/1 with some bookmakers. So people are definitely throwing some cash at this horse ahead of the race. And based on his prolific win in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, these odds are justified.
