Argonauts vs Stampeders CFL Odds, Picks and Predictions

The Toronto Argonauts and Calgary Stampeders are playing each other on Saturday night at McMahon Stadium. Both teams have already clinched playoff spots and are looking to enter the postseason with momentum. Calgary is 5.5-point home favorite.

Argonauts are coming off a 45-point explosion against the Redblacks. The Stampeders are the league's top-ranked team with 42 sacks. Argos defense is second in the CFL in yards allowed per pass attempt (7.8), yards per rush (4.9), and second-down conversion rate (44%). Stamps defense has been inconsistent this season but held Argauts to 19 points in Week 11.

The Argos are fresh off a 45-15 win against Ottawa. Calgary won 25-11 against the Lions last Saturday. The Stamps have one of the best offenses in the league but have been shaky on the defensive side of ball. Argauts have a lot of injuries but are still atop the weak East Division with an 8-5 record.

Bethel-Thompson leads the league with 3,672 passing yards. Toronto's line has done a poor job of protecting him. The Argos are last in the CFL in rushing yards per game (76.3) and yards/attempt (4.4). The Stampeders' offense is explosive and their defense is fourth in league in points allowed (23.5).

The Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these teams. The Under has also been 5-1 in their previous six games in Calgary.

Argonauts are without Jamal Peters CB, Eric Rogers WR, Ja'Gared Davis DE, Andrew Harris RB, Peter Nicastro C, Isiah Cage OT, Trevon Tate OT and Derek Dennis LT. Stampeders are missing Derek Dennison LT, T.J. Rayam DT, Mike Rose DT and Kamar Jordan WR.
