Arlington to host 2024 MLB All-Star Game, generate economic development
The 2024 MLB All-Star Game will be played at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. It will generate an estimated $90 million for the city. The event will showcase the arenas and entertainment district. It is expected to demand over 3,000 hotel rooms at its peak. This year's game will take place indoors, unlike the 1995 game, which was played in 101-degree weather. New Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center will open in early 2024. it will host the All Star Game. There will also be a celebrity softball game and Home Run Derby. Texas Rangers will play the game.
