Arsenal FC vs Leeds: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Mikel Arteta’s team boast a five-point lead over Manchester City and continue to impress. It seems like every time the Gunners are dealt a setback, they have enough in the way of mental fortitude to recover almost instantly.

The commanding way in which Arsenal disposed of Fulham only days after a draining penalty shootout loss to Sporting in the Europa League said so much about Arteta’s side. Heading into the business end of the campaign, the title looks theirs to lose.

While, on paper, the visit of a side battling relegation looks rather favourable, Leeds managed to get a morale-boosting win over Wolves before the break in domestic football.

Arsenal squeezed past the Yorkshire giants back in October thanks to a goal from Bukayo Saka so will certainly not be taking Saturday’s opposition lightly.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Arsenal vs Leeds is scheduled for a 3pm BST kick-off time on Saturday 1 April, 2023.

The Emirates Stadium in London will host.

Arsenal vs Leeds team news

Thomas Partey sat out of Ghana’s draw with Angola with what Black Stars boss Chris Hughton called some “small issues”, so it will be interesting to see what Arteta says of the midfielder.

William Saliba pulled out of the France squad too, raising concern as to his availability. Kieran Tierney came off injured for Scotland and Takehiro Tomiyasu will miss the rest of the season, potentially leaving Arteta light.

Leeds are also dealing with a number of concerns, with Tyler Adams seemingly facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a hamstring injury. Willy Gnonto and Max Wober are also doubts after suffering knocks on international duty.

Arsenal vs Leeds prediction

It’s difficult to look past Arsenal, particularly at home. Even with the break in mind, they are riding a wave of momentum at the moment.
