Australia Cricket World Cup squad, team list including David Warner and Steve Smith for ICC ODI tournament

Australia is the most successful nation in Cricket World Cup history, having won the ODI title five times, and they are also the only country to win in all the regions where the tournament has been hosted so far.

As such, they will start the 2023 edition as one of the clear favourites when the action gets underway.

The record-setting and record-breaking Aussie team will look to extend their hot winning streak by claiming the 2023 ODI World Cup when it is held in India from October 5 to November 19.

Australia Cricket World Cup squad, team list

Australia's dominance in ICC competitions is unrivaled, and the current World Test Championship holders in the longer format will be looking to take top billing once again when it comes to the shorter version of the game.

Will the Pat Cummins-led team win another trophy this year after a successful campaign at the WTC and in reclaiming the Ashes?

Here's the players who will be representing Australia at the 2023 ODI men's World Cup. As per the ICC, all competing countries have a deadline of September 28 to finalise their squads, after which any replacements must be ratified by the governing body.

Australia Cricket World Cup star players

Such is their strength, that there are very few players in the Australian squad who do not qualify as a “stars”.

That is the beauty of the Aussies — there's no one single player or small group of players who dominate their line-up. The star power of Australia lies in its ability to produce a different match-winner in every game.

Whether it is Steve Smith and David Warner piling on the runs, or Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc bowling with length and fierce pace, Australia have everything.

From a reliable batting order to a lethal bowling attack, and a set of enviable all-rounders, Australia will be hard to beat.

Australia Cricket World Cup predictions, odds and latest betting

Australia has managed to reach seven finals out of the 12 World Cups in the One-Day International format.

The Aussies have been to the semis and quarters once each and were knocked out from the group stage just three times.

So it would take a brave person to bet against them being right there when the trophy is decided this time around, especially given the season they have had in the longer format of the game with many of the same players involved.
