Bellewstown horse racing betting tips for Tuesday including a 15/2 nap

Bellewstown stages the first day of its August meeting, an eight-race flat card on which One Boss might open her account for Jessica Harrington in the Peadar Kearney’s Pub Handicap.

Still seeking a first win, on her tenth start, this daughter of Saxon Warrior’s forward-going style should be suited by this terrain and, having gone close on her last two starts, she might be capable of breaking her duck.

Beaten two lengths by subsequent winner Ano Manna at Killarney last month, One Boss again made a bold bid to make all at Leopardstown last time, but, ultimately, had to settle for third spot behind Kampala Beach, beaten a length and a half.

Harrington’s filly looks capable of making her breakthrough and, even in this competitive affair, might last it out.

The alliance of Michael Halford and Tracey Collins has been enjoying success in recent weeks and might strike again with Not Forgotten in the opening Tynan’s Bar Median Auction Maiden.

A lightly-raced gelding, this fellow finished a creditable third to Quar Shamar and recent ‘Royal Whip’ runner-up Unless (both rated over 100) in a Dundalk maiden back in April and, having flopped, when favourite, at Tipperary in May, bounced back last time in Dundalk, chasing home Signatory.

He looks open to more improvement than his more exposed rivals and gets the vote to score for Ronan Whelan.
