The Milwaukee Bucks’ visit to the defending champions the Denver Nuggets is the highlight of tonight’s NBA action.

New Bucks coach Doc Rivers faces a baptism of fire in his first game in charge, testing out his championship hopefuls.

Elsewhere, two of the league’s form teams meet when the LA Clippers visit Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers.

The New York Knicks are also in action, while the Phoenix Suns and their big three visit a Miami Heat side that is going through a rut.

Below you can find an 11/1 fourfold covering the best of the night’s NBA action.

Clippers to continue brilliant run

The Clippers are third in the West after winning a fifth game on the bounce on Saturday night. Since James Harden found his groove alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers are 22-4.

They stand out as real title contenders, yet their exploits seem to be going under the radar.

The Clippers went to Boston on Saturday on the second night of a back-to-back and they easily dispatched of the league’s top side.

The Celtics needed a fourth-quarter rally just to cut the deficit to 19 in that clash.

While the Cavaliers are 9-1 across their last 10 and charging up the standings themselves, it’s hard to oppose such a good Clippers team with just a -2.5 handicap against them.

Knicks to cruise to another win

The Knicks have hit a new level since the OG Anunoby trade and the London-born forward has clicked on both ends of the floor.

The Knicks are 12-2 since Anunoby’s debut and his defensive prowess has pushed New York towards the top tier in the Eastern Conference.

The Knicks head to Charlotte to meet a Hornets side who are 10-34 on the season.

They’ve lost a miserable 16 of their 21 home games and with New York winning six on the spin, they look good for a double-digit victory.

Suns can profit at shaky Miami

The Suns’ trip east hasn’t gone to plan so far, with them having lost at the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic.

Despite that, their big three has been delivering, with one of Devin Booker or Kevin Durant posting at least 40 points across their last five games.

That kind of firepower is tough for the Miami Heat to handle. Erik Spoelstra’s side have lost six on the bounce, with their highest scorer topping out at 22 points or fewer in four of those contests.

Something looks off with the Heat right now, which isn’t surprising as they regroup following a string of injuries. They lack cohesion on both ends of the floor, which provides an opportunity for the Suns to return to winning ways.

With Miami unlikely to run away in this one, take Phoenix to win or lose by no more than three points.

Rough opener for Doc Rivers

The headline game of the night is Doc Rivers’ opener as the coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Rivers has his critics after a string of meek playoff exits with the Philadelphia 76ers in recent years.

The new coach has had little time to get things going in Milwaukee, while he’s inheriting a roster which has looked imbalanced after they traded away Jrue Holiday in the summer.

Without a perimeter defender of note, it’s hard to see the Bucks rivalling a Nuggets side who won the championship last year thanks to an incredibly varied offense, built around two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.
