Best NBA prop bets today for Celtics vs. Hawks Game 6 (Three points props to bet)

The Atlanta Hawks forced Game 6 against the Boston Celtics behind a huge game from Trae Young on Tuesday night, and now Atlanta is at home with a chance to force a Game 7.

Boston is favored in this game, and with this matchup being the only game of the night, there are several ways to bet on this matchup in the prop market.

I have three players that I think will go OVER their point total in this game. Let’s break them down:

Celtics vs. Hawks best NBA prop bets

  • Robert Williams OVER 8.5 Points
  • Jaylen Brown OVER 26.5 Points
  • Trae Young OVER 27.5 Points

Robert Williams OVER 8.5 Points

Robert Williams III is a wild card for Boston with his injury issues, but when he plays, he has a huge impact.

The big man has three games in this series with double-digit points, finishing with eight and four points in his other two matchups.

Williams doesn’t take a ton of shots, but he takes high-percentage looks, shooting 21-for-24 from the field in this series. At plus money, Williams is a value to score nine points in Game 6.

Jaylen Brown OVER 26.5 Points

Jaylen Brown was Boston’s best player in Game 5, and he’s picked up 29 or more points in three of the five games in this series.

While Brown isn’t always guaranteed to be the No. 1 option, it’s hard to see Boston going away from him with Tatum struggling.

JB has 31 and 35 points in the last two games while shooting 7-for-11 from 3-point range. I’ll ride with Jaylen to have a big Game 6.

Trae Young OVER 27.5 Points

Since Game 3, Trae Young has been absolutely on fire, scoring 32, 35 and 38 points in the last three games of the series.

Young is built for these playoff runs, as we saw in 2021, and the Celtics have really struggled to defend him. We also know that Young is going to see a ton of volume shooting the ball.

Here’s a look at his field goal and 3-point attempts in this series:

  • Game 1: 5-for-18 FG, 1-for-5 3P
  • Game 2: 9-for-22 FG, 2-for-8 3P
  • Game 3: 12-for-22 FG, 2-for-6 3P
  • Game 4: 11-for-26 FG, 4-for-10 3P
  • Game 5: 14-for-33 FG, 5-for-13 3P

Young may not see 33 shots with Dejounte Murray back, but he’s going to get his looks on a nightly basis. With the 3-point shot starter to fall, I think Young clears this line in Game 6.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
