Best NBA prop bets today for Heat vs. Hawks (Prop for Bam Adebayo)

The Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks face off in primetime in what is a rematch of the first round of the playoffs from last season.

Atlanta has been a bit of disappointment this season, sitting in the No. 9 spot in the East despite trading for Dejounte Murray in the offseason.

The Heat, who have been ravaged by injuries, are hoping to make a run after winning three straight games to move into the No. 7 spot.

This game is set at a pick’em, so if you’re not confident in picking a side, there are plenty of props to consider wagering on.

Here are my favorites for this MLK Day matchup:

Heat vs. Hawks best NBA prop bets today

  • De’Andre Hunter OVER 3.5 Rebounds
  • John Collins OVER 7.5 Rebounds
  • Bam Adebayo OVER 20.5 Points

De’Andre Hunter OVER 3.5 Rebounds

De’Andre Hunter isn’t known for his rebounding prowess, but he’s cleared this prop in nine of his last 10 games and is averaging 4.4 rebounds per game this season.

We may be laying a little bit of juice on this prop, but Hunter has been too good on the glass (5.9 rebounds per game over his last 10 matchups) for me to pass this one up.

Miami also ranks just 22nd in the NBA in rebounding percentage, and it could be without starting forward Caleb Martin (questionable) in this matchup as well.

John Collins OVER 7.5 Rebounds

Sticking with Atlanta rebounding props, I also love the OVER for John Collins’ rebounds on Monday.

Both of these teams have struggled this season on offense, which means there will be plenty of missed shots, and Collins has cleared 7.5 boards in eight of his last 10 games.

Collins is averaging 7.9 rebounds per game this season, and he had a season-high 14 boards against Miami earlier this season.

Bam Adebayo OVER 20.5 Points

Miami fans have to love seeing how aggressive Bam Adebayo has been this season, averaging a career-high 21.5 points per game.

The Hawks are expected to get Clint Capela back in this game, but with Kyle Lowry out of the lineup and Caleb Martin questionable, there’s going to be a bigger offensive burden for Bam today.

Adebayo has cleared this line in seven of his last nine games, and I think he can take advantage of this Atlanta team that ranks 24th in the league in net rating this season.
