Best NBA prop bets today for Sixers vs. Wizards (De’Anthony Melton has been hot)

The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night, and this could be a high-scoring game since Washington ranks 29th in the NBA in defensive rating.

Tobias Harris OVER 16.5 points

This is a buy-low spot on Tobias Harris, who has failed to clear 16.5 points in five straight games. 

Earlier this season, Harris dropped 18 against the Wizards on just 11 shots, and I think this game could turn into a track meet since Washington is No. 2 in the NBA in pace. 

Everyone the Sixers should see a boost against a weak Washington defense, and Harris is still getting double-digit volume in his shot attempts. Back him to go OVER tonight. 

De’Anthony Melton OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

Over his last four games, Melton has made 14 shots from beyond the arc, hitting at least three 3-pointers in each of those matchups.

Washington allows nearly 13 made 3s per game, so I expect Melton to get his fair share of looks on Wednesday night.
