NBA picks: Best player prop bets for Wednesday, December 6

We’ve got a loaded NBA slate Wednesday with 11 games, anchored by a doubleheader on ESPN. That means there are plenty of opportunities for bettors when it comes to player props. Here’s a few of our favorite plays for the day with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Joel Embiid over 11.5 rebounds vs. Wizards (-115)

The reigning league MVP is back after missing some time with an illness, and he gets an awesome matchup. The Wizards allow the most rebounds to opponents in the league, and the Sixers don’t really have anyone else who snags boards like Embiid. The center has gone over this mark twice in the last four games, but both unders came at 11 rebounds. He snagged 11 boards in the first matchup against Washington as well. While there is some blowout potential here which could lead to Embiid not playing his usual minutes, back him to dominate the glass enough to get at least 12 rebounds.

Trae Young over 10.5 assists vs. Nets (+100)

The Hawks point guard is on fire when it comes to distributing the ball, averaging 10.7 assists per game this season. He only managed nine in the last meeting against the Nets, but has hit double-digit assists in four of his last five games. He’s gone over this line in the last two contests and even though the Nets are a tough matchup ranking fifth in opponent assists allowed, it’s worth backing this Atlanta offense to remain hot. Look for Young to dish at least 11 assists tonight.

Jimmy Butler over 25.5 points vs. Raptors (-105)

Butler has been on fire for the Heat, going well over this mark in each of the last two games. Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro are still out, which means it’ll be up to Butler to lead this offense. Volume shouldn’t be an issue, and Butler’s ability to get to the free-throw line is helping him when it comes to points props. The Raptors are a slightly above average defensive unit, but it’s hard to bet against Butler’s volume right now. Take him to go over this line Wednesday night.
