Best NFL Parlays Bets For Week 5 To Back Today: Bills, Vikings & More!

When it comes to sweeping trends, there aren’t any through four weeks of the 2023 NFL season. Road teams are 33-28-3 against the spread, but that was due to a 12-4 ATS mark in Week 1. Underdogs are 30-28-3 ATS. Neither looks like longer-term strategies to bank on.

Oddsmakers have figured out most teams, as well. No team is 4-0 against the spread, and just one team is 0-4.

A few are close to perfect. The surprising Rams are 3-0-1 ATS, and 11 others are at 3-1 (75%).

On the flip side, only the New York Giants are 0-4 ATS. They edged out the Cardinals 31-28 as five-point road favorites and lost their other three games by 40, 18 and 21. Five other teams have yet to cover at 0-3-1: the Bears, Broncos, Panthers, Saints and Bengals.

The Miami Dolphins are the only team 2-0 ATS as favorites. The Saints have been favored in every game yet have not covered one.

The “Home Away From Home” Parlay

Leg 1: Bills -5.5 vs. Jaguars

Jacksonville remained in London, for better or for worse, after beating the Falcons last Sunday. Here come the Bills, who own the NFL’s top interceptions and sack percentage ratio and whose offense has scored 37-plus points in three-straight weeks. The Jaguars’ offense hasn’t shown the ability to score on the likes of the Texans and Falcons.

Leg 2: Leg 2: Chiefs -5 over Vikings

Patrick Mahomes is better on the road than he is at home, and there will be nearly as many Mahomes jerseys in the crowd as Kirk Cousins. Mahomes should have a buffet of options against the porous Minnesota defense.

Leg 3: Eagles -4 over Rams

Sofi Stadium offers little to no home-field advantage for the Rams or Charges. Philly should fill this place up. Despite the Eagles’ relatively slow start, they’re 4-0 with three of those wins by five points or more (the other should have been by 7). The defense can harass banged-up Matthew Stafford.

The “AFC Beast” Parlay

Leg 1: Patriots -1 over Saints

Derek Carr couldn’t be any worse than he was a week ago, but then again neither could the Patriots’ defense in their shellacking at the hands of the Cowboys. New England gets up at home and can keep up against a Saints side that’s scored 16, 20, 17 and 9 points.

Leg 2: Dolphins -11 over Giants

Miami was humbled by the rival Bills in Week 4, but what a difference a week makes. The Dolphins won’t be over-confident after that beatdown, meaning the Giants, who couldn’t do anything right against the Seahawks, are in for a major rude awakening. Miami doesn’t take prisoners.

Leg 3: Jets +3 over Broncos

New York did a lot of things right but couldn’t finish the job against Mahomes and the Chiefs. This isn’t Mahomes and the Chiefs they’re facing here. Denver’s defense gets healthier but is still as bad as they come. Zach Wilson couldn’t have to do a ton because the Jets’ run game should have a big day. Buying the half-point.
