Bet on GT v DC: Prediction, tips and odds for IPL match today

It's a top-and-tail affair in the IPL, as the league-leading Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on the cellar-dwelling Delhi Capitals (DC).

The Titans have put together a commanding 6-2 record, including three straight wins.

For Delhi, they have a mirrored record, 2-6, and are coming off another loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad after winning two straight games.

Can David (Warner) and Co. topple Goliath, or will the Titans keep on rolling?

GT vs DC odds

Gujarat are the heavy favourites to win this one, as they continue to set the benchmark for the IPL, compared to the last-placed Capitals.

GT vs DC match facts

  • Date: Tuesday, May 2
  • Location: Narendra Modi Stadium
  • Last meeting: April 5, 2023 - GT won by 6 wickets

GT vs DC team news

Gujarat Titans will come into this game without the services of Kane Williamson, who has been ruled out of the IPL season with a leg injury. Sai Sudharsan is also still being held out by the team.

For Delhi, they will be lacking talented duo Rishabh Pant and Kamlesh Nagakoti, who are both missing the season with knee and back injuries, respectively.

GT vs DC prediction

  • Result prediction: Gujarat Titans to win

DC have had some modest success in recent weeks, but GT should be unbeatable in this one.

It's the best team in the league against the worst, and the Titans should make light work of the Capitals.

GT vs DC best bet

  • Pick: Gujarat Titans to win
  • Odds: 1.74 (Dafabet)

It's a simple pick, but when you have a matchup as uneven as this, it's hard to look past taking the Titans to win.

They've won all their games except for two, and they're currently riding a three-game win streak, meaning it's almost a certainty that GT will take this one home.

GT vs DC outside bet

  • Pick: David Warner to score 50
  • Odds: 3.25 (Dafabet)

He's averaging 38.25 runs per match in this IPL season, but make no mistake, David Warner still has what it takes to put up some huge numbers.

He has already scored 50 runs four separate times this year, and at 3.25, is definitely worth the risk if he can heat up for Delhi.
