BetMGM lists Los Angeles as a four-point favorite, but the over/under is a more interesting wager to me.
The total is 46 points on BetMGM and I like the under.
Saints games are always good candidates for an under bet.
New Orleans is sixth in the NFL in points allowed at 19.1 points per game, and it has only surrendered 12 combined points in its last two games against the Giants and Panthers.
Add in a pedestrian offense with Derek Carr, and the Saints aren’t involved in many shootouts.
The Rams’ offense has turned a corner in recent weeks and it will certainly be a tough challenge for the Saints’ defense, but I think the short rest week entering “Thursday Night Football” will benefit both defenses.
Even though Los Angeles’ defense is fairly average, Aaron Donald can still affect games in a big way.
