Boy, Patriots vs. Steelers would have been such a great matchup for most of the 21st century, but it will almost certainly be a rough watch Thursday night.
In a battle of offensively-challenged teams, BetMGM has the over/under for this game set at 30 points. Even though that is a very low number, it’s hard to expect these teams scoring much on a short week.
Whether it’s Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe under center, New England’s offense is a complete disaster. It is averaging a league-worst 12.3 points per game, and has failed to reach double-digits in each of its last three games.

The Steelers aren’t exactly the Greatest Show on Turf, either, especially with Mitch Trubisky at quarterback. They only had a field goal before garbage time against the Cardinals last week, and their 16.0 points per game is fifth-worst in the NFL.
Pittsburgh has at least overcome their offensive issues to get to 7-5, thanks to a defense that is only allowing 19.1 points per game.
