First place in the NFC East is on the line tonight when the Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles on ‘Sunday Night Football”.

The 9-3 Cowboys are favored by 3.5 points over the 10-2 Eagles. I don’t hate that line, especially with how the Eagles have looked recently.

Philadelphia has really struggled in its last two games, giving up 76 points combined to the Bills and 49ers. Both Josh Allen and Brock Purdy threw for over 300 yards and both teams rushed for at least 140 yards, so it wasn’t just one problem hurting the Eagles. Philly’s offense has mostly been good, but the margin for error is so thin if the defense continues to underperform.

It’s also important to remember that Dallas moved the ball well in their 28-23 road loss to the Eagles in Week 9. Dak Prescott threw for 374 yards and three (almost four) touchdowns in that game, and it wasn;t some out-of-body outing from him since he leads the NFL with 26 touchdown passes. With weapons like CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson, I expect Prescott’s run to continue tonight.
