Betting on College Football Odds Through Power Rankings
The week three power rankings have been released and legal sportsbooks have updated their future odds for the CFP winner. Georgia Bulldogs are the common thread between the two ranking systems.
Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Oklahoma are the top five teams in the Power Rankings. Georgia has been the most dominant team in 2022. Alabama was number one in power rankings after week one and had the best championship odds at +175. The team struggled against Texas in week two and fell in both rankings.
Clemson Tigers opened the 2022 season with +1200 odds. The Tigers have won both of their first two games. They fell in the week two power rankings in eighth spot.
Kentucky beat number 12 Florida in week two and have jumped to the number nine spot in the power rankings. Legal sports betting sites have still given Kentucky long CFP odds at +15000.
Tennessee beat number 17 Pitt in week two. They are ranked 14th in the 2022 power rankings. Their schedule still has them playing Alabama and Georgia.
