CFP Rankings vs. Natty Odds

The College Football Playoff committee recalibrated the top four teams. The rankings are more satisfying and fair to the public at large.

Georgia Bulldogs moved from No. 3 to the top of this week's CFP Rankings. They are also the favorite in the FBS Championship odds at FanDuel. Ohio State Buckeyes are still No 2, but their odds have been reduced from +200 to +250. The Buckeye's season finale is against the No 3 Michigan Wolverines on Thanksgiving weekend.

FanDuel has different betting odds for CFP Rankings and Natty Odds.

Natty sportsbook has the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers as fourth at +1400. The Vols are the most likely non-conference champ to make the playoffs. No 6 Oregon Ducks are fifth in terms of odds at -2500.

TCU moved up three spots in the CFP Rankings from No. 7 to No 4, but their odds remain unchanged. The betting lines have them knocked off their perch as early as this week in Austin, where they're a 7-point underdog to three-loss Texas.

No. 12 UCLA is under-ranked and undervalued. They have a home game with USC in two weeks. UCLA has the 12th-best odds. No. 7 LSU has sixth-worst odds at +4000. LSU is playing at Arkansas this Saturday.

No. 10 Clemson is the only team with a chance to make the CFP. No. 15 North Carolina's odds took a hit, going from +8000 to +15000. Ole Miss's chances are also down because LSU beat Alabama. FanDuel is still giving No 13 Utah a shot, but they're a long shot.
