Big Ten teams in Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 after Week 10

Each of the Big Ten's "big three" won in their respective Week 10 games. Apart from that, the conference suffered some surprising losses.

No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 9 Penn State all beat their opponents on Saturday, with the Wolverines downing Purdue 41-13 and the Nittany Lions beating Maryland 51-15. But Ryan Day's Buckeyes got everything they could handle vs. Greg Schiano's Rutgers squad, winning 35-16 in Piscataway, New Jersey in a game much closer than the score indicates.

Elsewhere, Harlon Barnett got his first win of the season in a huge upset as Michigan State beat Matt Rhule and Nebraska 20-17. Indiana likewise salvaged hope for bowl eligibility with a 20-14 victory over Wisconsin. Illinois (4-5, 2-4 Big Ten play) also beat Minnesota (5-4, 3-3 Big Ten).

Last and least (offensively speaking, anyway) was the Big Ten West showdown between Iowa and Northwestern. The game, which featured a historic betting low heading into the game, actually failed to meet the 30.5-point over/under. The Hawkeyes won 10-7, marking only the seventh highest-scoring game of the year at Wrigley Field — including six Cubs games.

With that in mind, here's a look at how those games informed the US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 heading into Week 11:
