The Rams are favored by a point at the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are a -2.5 favorite. As of Monday morning, the Bills had received 62% of the bets and 75% cash. By Wednesday, 58% had bet on Buffalo, but on just 53% tickets. So far, Over is the popular play, landing 67% and 73% respectively.

Bills vs. Rams is a good start for L.A.'s title defense.

Rams are home underdogs against the Bills at home. Matthew Stafford is expected to play despite having an elbow injury. Bills have lost their last nine games against defending Super Bowl champions. Bills went just 2-5 against teams outside the AFC East that finished with a record above .500.

Bills and Rams are playing in the first game of the NFL season. Los Angeles added veteran Bobby Wagner to their defense. Buffalo scored 31 or more points in 11 of their 19 games last season and was first in defensive efficiency. The Rams played dime defense last year, but they will play a more traditional style with Wagner.

Buffalo's defense will improve once All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White is activated off the PUP list. Buffalo's secondary has question marks with Taron Johnson and Dane Jackson on opposite sides. Rams quarterback will lean on Cooper Kupp a lot early in the season.
