Renee Wickliffe and Portia Woodman have helped each other back into the Black Ferns team. They are preparing to defend the World Cup at home next month. Suzanne McFadden was at the team naming.

The Black Ferns are preparing for the Rugby World Cup next month. The team is made up of 32 players. Renee Wickliffe and Portia Woodman have both had to overcome many injuries to play rugby. They both won the World Cups in 2010 and 2017. It's their fourth World cup. More than 60 players have congratulated them. Kendra Cocksedge will play at her fourth. She was called by her old coach Allan Bunting. He was about to fly home from Cape Town. They congratulated her. Awhina Tangen-Wainohu made her debut last month after getting fit to be a better mum.

The Black Ferns 32 for RWC21 are: Luka Connor, Natalie Delamere, Georgia Ponsonby, Tanya Kalounivale, Phillipa Love, Krystal Murray, Amy Rule, Awhina Tangen-Wainohu, Santo Taumata, Chelsea Bremner, Joanah Ngan-woo, Maiakawanakaulani Roos.

Alana Bremner, Sarah Hirini, Charmaine McMenamin, Liana Mikaele-Tu'u, Kendra Reynolds, Kennedy Simon are loose forwards.

Ariana Bayler, Kendra Cocksedge, Arihiana Marino-Tauhinu are the Black Ferns halfbacks.

Ruahei Demant and Hazel Tubic are the first five-eighths.
