Rugby: Black Ferns name squad for next month's Rugby World Cup in New Zealand

Portia Woodman, Sarah Hirini and Stacey Fluhler have been named in the Black Ferns squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Kendra Cocksedge and Renee Wickliffe will be attending their fourth Rugby Cup. Sylvia Brunt is the youngest player selected at just 18 years old. The Black Ferns will play in Farah Palmer Cup on Saturday. The team has developed a new game plan for 2022. It is Wayne Smith's first time coaching the team. He hopes it will excite the rugby public. Canterbury and Hawke's Bay won Farrah Palmer cup on Friday.
