Nashwa returns to Goodwood to try and defend her Nassau crown. John and Thady Gosden's four-year-old only sits second in the current betting, which is topped by leading French three-year-old Blue Rose Cen, who has landed Group Ones on three of her last four starts.

Via Sistina could step back up in trip, following a slightly underwhelming third in the Falmouth Stakes. Roger Varian has handed an entry to Al Husn, who took down Nashwa when the two met in the Hoppings Fillies' Stakes up at Newcastle.

Above The Curve could renew rivalries with Via Sistina, having finished third behind George Boughey's filly in the Pretty Polly Stakes. Jessica Harrington's Sounds Of Heaven and Paddy Twomey's Rosscarbery could bolster the Irish challenge.

The Gosden's could also be represented by Epsom Oaks winner Soul Sister, following her third-place finish in the Grand Prix de Paris. Aidan O'Brien holds four entries, including Ribblesdale winner Warm Heart, but the betting suggests that none will make an appearance in this Group One.

Karl Burke has entered up Novakai, with Running Lion another possible runner for the Gosdens. Other Glorious Goodwood entrants include Epsom Oaks third Caernarfon, Henry Candy's Araminta and another Roger Varian runner, Ameynah.
