Bob Baffert’s High Connection wins Los Alamitos Derby

Bob Baffert won his first stakes race since returning from his 90-day suspension. High Connection won the Los Alamitos Derby by 1 3/4 of a length. The horse was trained by Sean McCarthy during Baddert's suspension and finished second in the Affirmed Stakes. Doppelganger finished fourth.
