Bob Weeks: Tiger Woods defies the odds with Masters return
Tiger Woods is going to play in the Masters. He was seriously injured in a car crash in February. His last start at the 2020 Masters was tied for 38th. Woods has been playing golf for more than a year. He is not just a ceremonial player, but a competitor. The tournament starts on April 12th at Augusta National. It is a tournament he loves. Tiger played 18 holes with his son Charlie last week. On Tuesday he practiced and plans to do it again on Wednesday. In practice he hit towering drives off tees and crisp irons into greens. A practice round on Monday with Justin Thomas and Fred Couples drew a huge gallery.
