Boston College vs. Notre Dame

Benjamin Morrison had three interceptions and the Notre Dame defense forced two fumbles. The No. 18 Fighting Irish scored on their first eight possessions to beat Boston College 44-0. It was the coldest game at Notre Notre in nine years. Boston college coach Jeff Hafley said the team turned the ball over too much. The game was played in 27 degrees. There was heavy snow falling through much of the third quarter. Notre Irish won their ninth straight game against Boston BC. They also extended their regular-season winning streak against Atlantic Coast Conference teams to 28 games. In the first half, the Irish had a 336-81 advantage in total yards and 214-1 advantage on rushing offense.

Boston College plays Notre Dame. A lopsided victory could move the Irish up a few spots.

Boston College couldn't build on their last-minute victory over No. 17 North Carolina State. Notre Dame avoided a third home loss and kept alive their hopes for a sixth-straight 10-win season.
