Syracuse and Boston College are playing a rivalry game. Syracuse has lost five straight games and allowed over 1,100 rush yards in that stretch. Boston college has won one game, against NC State. The game is won and lost in the trenches. Syracuse should win the game 27-21.

Syracuse beat Wake Forest last week. Boston College beat NC State on the road. The Eagles have a 3-8 record. Syracuse has a healthy quarterback and an offense that was the most creative it's been in months.

Syracuse is 7-2 and trying to keep its bowl hopes alive. Boston College is 3-8 and has the sixth-lowest scoring offense in a 131-team division. The Eagles have one real threat on offense, Zay Flowers, but he's not catching passes from experienced quarterback Phil Jurkovec. Emmett Morehead has slung six interceptions and completed just 55.8% of his passes. Robert Anae's offense just put up its most complete performance in over a month against Wake Forest.
