Cal is 3-1 and the team that beat Arizona last weekend is favored to beat Washington State. The game is one of the most intriguing in the Pac-12 this season. The oddsmakers seem to have some confidence that Cal will be up for it.

Boise State is a team in disarray after a successful run in recent years. Hank Bachmeier, the team's starting quarterback, announced he was entering the transfer portal after last weekend's loss to UTEP. Taylen Green, a redshirt freshman, played well in the opening game against Oregon State. San Diego State beat Toledo 17-14 last week.

Baylor and Oklahoma State finished with the No. 9 and No 10 scoring defenses last season. They met twice last year and Baylor won by a foot. Spencer Sanders has put on a show this year at quarterback for Oklahoma. The Bears should be primed for a bigger output than they were against Central Michigan.

Middle Tennessee has played well since a loss to Miami. Adam Kramer picks them to beat UTSA.

North Carolina State and Clemson are playing a game that is expected to go over 40.5 points.

Utah is playing at home against Oregon State.
