B/R Experts Answer Biggest College Football Playoff and NY6 Bowl Questions

The New Year's Six games are up next. The semifinals are between Michigan and TCU. There are also the Orange, Sugar, Cotton and Rose Bowls.

Clemson is going to play in the Orange Bowl. True freshman Cade Klubnik will start for the Tigers. Tennessee's Joe Milton III is stepping in for injured Hendon Hooker. He has the strongest arm in football, but accuracy and opt-outs hurt his team. Clemson has some key opt outs on defense. They will come out on top. The game will be played in New York. It will take place on December 26th. There will also be a New Year's Day game.

Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. are going to play in the Sugar Bowl. Kansas State won the Big 12 championship and finished the season on a four-game winning streak. Alabama has a lot of talent, but it's been losing a number of games recently. David Kenyon is not picking Kansas to win. Max Escarpio is. David Escarpe is picking Alabama to beat Kansas.

Tulane is favored to beat USC. The game should be high-scoring. USC's defense ranks 106th in yards allowed per carry. Tulane's offense is led by Tyjae Spears and Michael Pratt. David Kenyon thinks USC will win. Brad Shepard is not sure. He thinks Tulanese can't keep up with USC talent. David Shepard thinks the opposite result will happen. It's unlikely.

Utah is favored to win the Rose Bowl against Penn State. Penn has a solid team on both sides of the ball. The game should be close. David Kenyon predicts a 27-24 victory for Penn. Brad Shepard predicts it will be closer. Thomas Yassmin will play for Utah at tight end. He's caught four touchdowns in his last five games. David Shepard is a former player at Penn and a current coach at Utah.

Michigan will play TCU in the College Football Playoff semifinal. The Wolverines are more athletic than Georgia last year. Michigan has only one postseason win in Harbaugh's tenure. TCU had a great season in Sonny Dykes' first year as head coach. The Horned Frogs will have to wait for a shot at the championship. They will face Michigan. It will be the first time in a Harbaugh era that Michigan will reach the national championship game.

Georgia is the defending national champion. Ohio State is a team that was dominated by Michigan late in the season. Georgia's offensive line has allowed only seven sacks all season, tied for the second-fewest nationally. The Bulldogs have won every game they've played so far. Georgia will win and cover, 36-27.
