Jude Bellingham has been crucial to the team's success and is expected to deliver on another Champions League night, while Braga will aim to assert themselves as a force to be reckoned with in Group C with a surprise result. The results are going Real Madrid's way, but the performances have left something to be desired on the field. The team enters their next Champions League fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw with Sevilla in which they were outshot 17 to 14 -- Sevilla also had seven shots on target, two more than Real Madrid's five. It was a fairly even match overall, though, with Dani Carvajal scoring an equalizer a few short minutes after David Alaba's own goal gave Sevilla the lead.
Bellingham has been able to bail Real Madrid out of trouble on nearly every occasion, though, and now has 10 goals and four assists in 11 games. His heroics have been on full display during the Champions League, when he scored the lone goal of the game in stoppage time against Union Berlin and then in their win over Napoli, when he notched a goal and an assist after they went down.
The question for Madrid now is if the team as a whole can live up to Bellingham's standard and deliver the performances to match their results, or if they will continue to position them as a one-man team at times. The good news for them is that they boast the quality, and the likes of Vinicius Junior and Joselu are getting on the scoresheet with frequency.
Prediction
